Authors Guidelines

 

Please follow the following guideline for submitting your manuscripts for publication in the Review of Business and Technology Research (RBTR) or other MTMI journals focused on other issues. You are requested to use these guidelines to submit manuscripts for review at the initial stage as well for conferences and journals.

INTRODUCTION: All papers published in RBTR and other journals are peer-reviewed. Authors should follow the guidelines very closely in order to maintain the publication consistency in terms of style, appearance, and so forth. If authors fail to follow these guidelines, the Editor reserves the right to reject publication of those papers in MTMI journals.

PAGE SIZE: Fit on 8.5″ x11″ sheets in Times New Roman 10 point font.

PAGE LIMIT: All manuscripts are limited to Five (5) pages. (There will be a charge of $10 for each additional page which must be paid with your submission. Your manuscript will not be published if you fail to pay for additional pages.)

MARGINS: Have left margin (1.5-inch) and other three margins (1″ each).

TITLE: Preferably short manuscript title, centered, all capital letters, bold, 14 point Times New Roman

AUTHOR: Immediately following paper title, single-spaced, centered, bold, 10 point Times New Roman. On a separate line for each author: First Name, Last Name, Institution, and Country.

HEADINGS: Preferably short. Left flushed, all capital letters, bold, 10 point Times New Roman.

TEXT/ BODY: 10 point Times New Roman, left flushed, no indention. Paragraphs begin at left margin and right justified. DO NOT NUMBER PAGES. Pages will be numbered consecutively at the time of publication by the Editor. However, use pencil lightly at bottom right corner to indicate page sequence/numbers that can be easily erased later on.

SPACINGS: All text SINGLE-SPACED, between paragraphs use Double Space.

ABSTRACT: Begin your manuscript with an abstract of about 100 words, providing an overview of your research objectives, methodology, findings, etc. Include ABSTRACT as heading, left flushed and triple-spaced below the last author’s name, affiliation, country, and e-mail.

CITATIONS AND REFERENCES: The use of citations and references should be as limited as possible in order to save space. Only the most important sources should be cited and listed. Unlisted references should not be cited, and listed references must be cited in the body. Within your text, reference citations should consist of the author’s last name and date of publication enclosed within parentheses. Example: (Agarwal, 2001). Do not use footnotes in your text.

All materials cited should be listed in an alphabetical order under the heading of REFERENCES starting at left margin. Do not number references. There should be double space between the REFERENCES heading and the first reference listing and between the two listings thereafter. However, each reference should be single-spaced.

Example of journal article:
Agarwal, K. (2002), The Information Market Practices and E-Commerce, Journal of E-Business, Global Association of E-Business, USA, Vol. 2 Issue 2, pp. 20-26.

Example of a book:
Loudon, Kenneth C. et al., (2004), E-Commerce, Prentice Hall.

 

TABLES AND FIGURES: Tables and figures should be placed close to where they are cited, and they should be high quality and camera-ready They should be placed flush with the left-hand margin and have proper numbering, headings and other notations.

SUBMISSION DEADLINE: Please follow the submission deadlines. For the final paper submission for publication, camera-ready copies and registration materials/fees must be received.

PLEASE NOTE THAT NO PAPER WILL BE PUBLISHED IN THE CONFERENCE PROCEEDINGS OR PLACED IN THE CONFERENCE PROGRAM UNTIL THE CONFERENCE REGISTRATION FEE IS RECEIVED.
     3. One CAMERA-READY copies of your manuscript with a cover sheet, containing your title and each author’s name, organizational affiliation, physical address, telephone numbers, fax numbers, e-mail address, etc. submitted electronically
     6. Please make sure that it is your original work.
